Family raffle home to raise money for Neuroblastoma UK
The Wilkinson family raffling their home to raise money for Neuroblastoma UK, after their daughter Oonagh was diagnosed with neuroblastoma when she was 19 months old.
For just £2.50, you could to win this newly refurbished two bedroom house (MORTGAGE FREE and all legal fees and stamp duty paid) plus £5000 cash. A total prize value of over £200,000! Once all tickets are sold, the family will donate a minimum of £40,000 to Neuroblastoma UK.
The raffle closes on Monday 5th April 2021 at 20:00 or when the last ticket is sold (whichever sooner).

Our Patron Alan Carr hosted an hour of virtual quizzy fun on Thursday 18th February 2021, LIVE from his home. 50 questions tested your general knowledge, Alan and his husband Paul gave us plenty of laughs and we even had special appearances from chickens!

Scott Mills joins Neuroblastoma UK as new Patron
We are delighted to announce that DJ and broadcaster Scott Mills joins Neuroblastoma UK as our new Patron.
The BBC Radio 1 and Radio 5 Live host first supported Neuroblastoma UK after a friend’s daughter was diagnosed with this aggressive cancer. Scott will help the charity to raise awareness of neuroblastoma and champion the work of Neuroblastoma UK to raise vital funds.
New immunotherapy shows promise for treating neuroblastoma
A novel CAR T-cell therapy designed to target cancerous tumours has shown promising early results in treating children with neuroblastoma.
The original pre-clinical work was funded by Neuroblastoma UK to help launch the study. Dr Karin Straathof, one of the lead investigators on the study, tells us more.

Understanding potential cancer-causing proteins to improve neuroblastoma treatment
In 2019, Neuroblastoma UK provided a grant of £143,648 to Dr Andrew Stoker and his team at University College London.
The team want to investigate how a particular protein that is well known to promote tumours in several cancers including breast, lung and prostate cancer works in neuroblastoma cells.

Young Scottish cancer survivor braves the shave for three children’s cancer charities
14 year old Phoebe from Inverness is shaving her hair to raise money for Neuroblastoma UK and CLIC Sargent, and donates hair to the Little Princess Trust.
Phoebe Macaskill was diagnosed with neuroblastoma, an aggressive childhood cancer, when she was just two years old. She is fundraising for Neuroblastoma UK and CLIC Sargent, two charities that supported Phoebe and her family when she was ill.
