Professor Kaat Durinck

Prof Kaat Durinck , is an Assistant professor at the Paediatric Precision Oncology Lab at Ghent University, Belgium.

She also sits on the ITCC Solid Tumour Committee. She has expertise in genomics, transcriptomics and epigenomics.

Her research focus is on neuroblastoma and paediatric sarcoma and has reorientated her scientific activities during her career from solely basic sciences towards a combined approach with translational research.

Her aim for her career is to be a driving force for ‘bench-to-bed’ (and reverse) centred research.
