Rainbow hoodie to give children with cancer a brighter future
As part of its first ever charity collaboration, Ripon-based clothing brand Rosebuds and Pearls will donate 20% from every super-soft Rainbow Hoodie purchase to Neuroblastoma UK, to help fund vital research into neuroblastoma, a rare and life-threatening childhood cancer. Rosebuds and Pearls are also offering our supporters, and their friends and families, a generous 10% discount on all their other products (just quote NBUK at the checkout) and they will donate 10% from these sales to Neuroblastoma UK.
Kerry, owner and creator of Rosebuds and Pearls first supported Neuroblastoma UK when a friend’s daughter sadly died, aged just seven months.
Eliza Grace Citroen-King was diagnosed with high-risk neuroblastoma after a lump was found during her six week check up. She tragically died just months later on 6th February 2023 following complications from her treatment.
Eliza’s family and friends wore personalised rainbow hoodies to Eliza’s memorial service and raised over £1,200 for Neuroblastoma UK.
Clothing that looks good, feels good, does good
With signature prints, quality fabrics, environmentally-friendly packaging and ethical manufacturing, Rosebuds and Pearls create clothing that looks good, feels good and does good.
Kerry launched her gorgeous clothing line from her kitchen table in 2016 and says, “Thousands of orders later, I still love what I do - designing and creating versatile, empowering clothing for all the family. It was such an honour to create these special rainbow hoodies in memory of Eliza. I can’t wait to make more hoodies to raise awareness of this cruel cancer and raise even more money for much-needed research. As a small, family run business, I am excited to partner with a small, family-led charity like Neuroblastoma UK to give hope to families affected by neuroblastoma.”
Hope for a brighter future
Zafar Zabbar, Philanthropy and Partnerships Manager at Neuroblastoma UK said, “We're all very proud to be working with Kerry and her delightful, ethical clothing brand. Around 100 children like Eliza are diagnosed with neuroblastoma every year in the UK.
Devastatingly, despite intensive treatment, neuroblastoma has one of the lowest survival rates of all childhood cancers and the treatment itself can have severe side effects. A rainbow is a sign of hope and the promise of better times to come. These hoodies are the perfect way to help give children with neuroblastoma and their families hope for a brighter future.”
