A new Patron for Neuroblastoma UK

This World Cancer Day, we are delighted to announce TV and radio presenter Angellica Bell as a new Patron of Neuroblastoma UK, to help celebrate our 40th anniversary!

As a mother, I can only imagine how devastating a child’s cancer diagnosis is for a family. I’ve had the privilege to meet some families affected by neuroblastoma and their strength is humbling.

Angellica Bell is a new charity Patron for Neuroblastoma UK

Angellica, who has supported the charity for a number of years said, “Becoming a Patron of Neuroblastoma UK is an absolute honour, particularly at such a special time for the charity as they celebrate their 40th year.

“As a mother, I can only imagine how devastating a child’s cancer diagnosis is for a family. I’ve had the privilege to meet some families affected by neuroblastoma and their strength is humbling. They’ve inspired me to help give families real hope by raising awareness of this cruel disease and most importantly, raise money for future research. And you can help too.

“Join me this World Cancer Day on 4th February and wear a special bracelet to show your support for children with neuroblastoma and their families.”

Tony Heddon, Chair of Trustees at Neuroblastoma UK said,

“We are truly delighted that Angellica Bell has chosen to become a Patron for Neuroblastoma UK. She has grown close to the charity over the last few years working alongside her friend and fellow Patron, Alan Carr.

“Her passion and enthusiasm are an ideal combination to help to increase awareness of neuroblastoma and help our fundraising efforts. We are so grateful to Angellica for her support and look forward to working with her in our 40th year and beyond.”

Angellica joins Alan Carr and Scott Mills as our third celebrity Patron - we are truly grateful for their support in raising awareness of neuroblastoma.
