Neuroblastoma UK to benefit from John Lewis & Partners Community Matters scheme

We are delighted to have been selected by John Lewis & Partners White City store, to benefit from their Community Matters scheme this summer.

Community Matters is a charitable giving scheme that runs throughout John Lewis & Partners shops.

Every three months, each shop selects three community groups or charities to help. Customers are directly involved in deciding how much each nominated group receives, by using a token to vote for the organisation they'd like to support.

Shopping to help save young lives

During June, July and August 2019, Neuroblastoma UK will feature as one of the nominated charities at the John Lewis White City store.

We’ll receive a share of £3,000, according to the amount of green tokens we receive.

The Community Matters box is located in the John Lewis restaurant at the Westfield Shopping Centre in White City. Simply collect a green token to donate every time you shop and pop it in the Neuroblastoma UK fundraising box.

So please pop in to John Lewis White City and donate your green token today!

Our sincere thanks to the John Lewis team for nominating us for this scheme and to everyone who donates in store.

Helping children like Florence

Florence, who features on the Community Matters poster, sadly passed away when she was just two and a half years old.

We would like to say a warm thank you to Carolyn for sharing her story to raise awareness of neuroblastoma and support our fundraising efforts.

Carolyn’s daughter Florence sadly passed away when she was just two and a half years old, after being diagnosed with stage 4, high risk neuroblastoma.

Carolyn says, "Florence was so strong willed and vibrant during her treatment, and always had a beautiful smile on
her face.

Funding research into neuroblastoma is so important. It's where we need to focus our efforts and raise more money."
