Let’s welcome 2024 with a hug

We know that the start of a New Year can be challenging, especially for those who have lost loved ones. At Neuroblastoma UK, we are sending our kindest thoughts to anyone struggling.  Thank you so much for your ongoing support which allows us to not only connect with you, but also to continue funding research into new, more effective and less punishing treatments for children with neuroblastoma.

4th February, World Cancer Day

As we welcome the new year at Neuroblastoma UK, we invite you to take part in World Cancer Day next month. This is a special day which aims to create a future without cancer. It calls on governments around the world to promote health equity, enhance cancer service accessibility, reduce disparities in cancer incidence and mortality, and finally close the care gap. Donate today to Neuroblastoma UK on the 4th February, to help the World Cancer Day’s fight.

If you have a family story you would like to share with us to promote the importance of fighting cancer over this period, please get in touch at hello@neuroblastoma.org.uk. We’d be very grateful for any stories which can help raise awareness about this rare and aggressive cancer.

New Year, New Challenge

We are all guilty of making resolutions over the New Year to improve our fitness, which we attempt for the first month and then forget…why not try break the cycle this year and sign up to one of our sporting events, to not only make sure you adhere to your resolutions, but also to fundraise for the futures of children with neuroblastoma. We have lots of events for you to take part in, most notably the Great North Run, which is the largest half marathon in the world!

Corporate Fundraising Opportunities

Let's make 2024 the year of fundraising in your workplace. Last year, some of our supporters, alongside their colleagues and companies, helped to raise over £30k for life-saving research. We'd love to see even more raised in 2024. There are lots of ways you can take your fundraising into the workplace, from getting your company and colleagues involved through corporate partnerships, taking part in sports challenges or holding fundraising events to help fight neuroblastoma. For more information about how to support Neuroblastoma UK, and to help encourage your company and colleagues to support our work, please email Zafar at zafar.zabbar@neuroblastoma.org.uk. You can also find more about corporate fundraising on this page.
