Tony Heddon stands down as Chair of Neuroblastoma UK

Neuroblastoma UK is enormously grateful to Tony for his inspirational leadership and hard work, and we are delighted that Tony will remain as a Trustee.

Tony Heddon was Chair of Neuroblastoma UK for five years.

After five years, on the 31st May, Tony Heddon decided to stand down as Chair of Neuroblastoma UK. He will remain a key part of the charity as a member of the Board of Trustees.

Neuroblastoma UK is currently being led by an Executive of Zara Aitchison, Kate Wheeler and Professor Andy Pearson.

Tony has been an outstanding Chair and under his leadership the charity has progressed and developed substantially. Tony has been a totally dedicated, very strong and effective advocate for the needs of children with neuroblastoma. His achievements have included the appointment of staff to focus on publicity and fundraising, the development of links with other neuroblastoma charities and his relentless drive to optimise fundraising.

Tony has shown unwavering dedication to the children and families affected by neuroblastoma. Neuroblastoma UK is enormously grateful to Tony for his inspirational leadership and hard work, and we are delighted that Tony will remain as a Trustee.
